Dr Olivia Vonow | Principal Dentist
Dr Olivia Vonow is a passionate and skilled dental professional, originally from Adelaide, where she grew up and completed her university studies. After making the decision to embrace a country change, Dr Vonow relocated to Goondiwindi, seeking to settle in a community where she could make a lasting impact. Her goal was to contribute meaningfully to the area and establish something truly exceptional.
Known for her friendly and bubbly personality, Dr Vonow loves connecting with new people and building trusting relationships with her patients. She believes that holistic care is at the heart of dentistry—it’s not just about the teeth, but about caring for the person who entrusts their health to her. Her approach is both gentle and highly skilled, with a focus on achieving high technical standards while ensuring each patient feels comfortable and supported.
Specializing in Invisalign, full mouth rehabilitation and smile enhancements, Dr Vonow is dedicated to making a real difference in her patients’ lives, always striving to improve both their dental health and their confidence.
When she’s not working, Dr Vonow enjoys recharging by spending quality time with her husband and two daughters. Her hobbies include visiting the pool, gardening (from growing beautiful flowers to cultivating her own fruit and vegetables), and caring for her chickens. Time spent with friends also brings her joy, as she values the strong connections and relationships that contribute to a fulfilling life.
Dr Claire Pua | Dentist
Dr Claire Pua is a skilled dentist with a deep interest in traditional Chinese medicine. While her primary focus is on providing exceptional dental care, she pursues studies in Chinese medicine to broaden her understanding of holistic health. Dr Pua values the serenity of regional life, preferring the calm of the countryside over the busy city environment. This balance of professional dedication and personal preference enriches her approach to well-being and patient care, reflecting a harmonious blend of modern science and traditional wisdom.
Dr Daniella Stewart | Dentist
From an early age, Daniella had a fascination with dentistry and a genuine love for helping people. It was only natural that she would pursue a career in dentistry and become a compassionate and highly skilled practitioner.
After completing her studies and honing her craft, Daniella made the decision to venture outside her hometown to take her career to the next level. She now works at Goondiwindi Family Dental, where her warm and approachable personality has quickly made her a favorite among patients.
Despite her busy schedule, Daniella is always ready with a smile and a kind word for anyone who comes through the door. She is passionate about providing the highest level of care possible, whether it be for routine check-ups or more extensive dental work. Her expertise in all areas of dentistry, including fillings, crowns, root canals, and preventive care, ensures that her patients receive the best possible treatment.
When she’s not busy at work, Daniella & her husband are proud parents to a new baby girl, so they have their hands full! Her love for animals and her warm and friendly personality make her a joy to be around and a valuable member of the community.
Despite her many accomplishments, Daniella remains humble and grounded, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure her patients receive the care and attention they deserve. Dr Jillian Wong | Dentist
Dr Jillian Wong is an accomplished dentist who recently made the exciting move from Brisbane to join the team at Goondiwindi Family Dental. With a strong interest in dentistry and a passion for patient care, Dr Wong is dedicated to providing high-quality dental services to the local community. Outside of her professional life, Jillian cherishes travel experiences, particularly those shared with family and friends. Her next travel destination is Taiwan, where she plans to enjoy exploring the vibrant culture and cuisine. Dr Wong’s commitment to her patients and her love for adventure reflect her vibrant personality and dedication to balancing a fulfilling career with enriching personal experiences.
Gabi Pechey | Your Oral Health Therapist
Gabi graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health Therapy with distinction from Central Queensland University, Rockhampton, in 2021. Having grown up on a cattle property in south west Queensland, only two hours from Goondiwindi, Gabi has always held a passion for rural and remote health services, knowing firsthand the difficulties in accessing health services remotely. Gabi is exceptional member of our team, and the care she can bring to the Goondiwindi Region makes her so valuable for our community.
Gabi loves focusing on preventative care and oral health promotion. You’ll be sure to see Gabi delivering tooth brushing lessons to Goondiwindi’s schools, kindergarten and daycares in no time. Gabi loves her paediatric dentistry and helping our little patients overcome their dental fears and making their dental visit fun!
Chloe | Dental Assistant
Chloe is a dedicated Dental Assistant at Goondiwindi Family Dental, currently pursuing her Certificate III in Dental Assisting. A local Goondiwindi resident, Chloe is surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends, which adds to her strong sense of community. Excitement is building as she prepares to become an aunt once again, eagerly anticipating the joy of new baby cuddles. Known for her kindness and supportive nature, Chloe serves as a cheerleader for our team, always ready to uplift and encourage her colleagues. Her enthusiasm for her studies and her compassionate approach to both patients and staff make her an invaluable part of our practice.
Brisa | Dental Assistant
Emma | Dental Assistant
Emma is a multi-talented dental assistant who brings a wealth of creativity and enthusiasm to her work. Born in Western Australia and raised in Esperance, Emma has always had a passion for the arts. She is a skilled artist and a talented costume designer, having studied costume design at TAFE Inverell NSW.
Emma’s artistic background is evident in her approach to dental assisting. She brings a keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision to her work, whether she’s assisting with routine cleanings or more complex procedures. Her creativity and passion for design also come through in her interactions with patients, as she strives to create a comfortable and welcoming environment in the dental office.
When she’s not working as a dental assistant, Emma can often be found indulging her other passions. She & her mum Naomi, are devoted pet owners, with a menagerie of dogs, cats, and chooks. She also enjoys spending time in her studio, where she creates beautiful works of art and designs stunning costumes for theatre productions and cosplay events. Emma’s Wednesday nights are spent delighting in new culinary delicacies with her partner & family.
Emma’s diverse background and artistic talent make her an invaluable member of the dental team. Her commitment to patient care and her creative approach to problem-solving make her an asset to any practice.
Sam | Dental Assistant
Sam started working at Goondiwindi Family Dental in April 2022. She has grown up in the Moreton Bay region and decided to move out to Goondiwindi for work with her partner. Sam has previously worked in hospitality and customer service for the past 6 years before deciding to make a career change. Sam is planning on starting her Certificate 3 in Dental Assisting soon to be fully qualified and provide the best service that she can to the people of Goondiwindi and surrounding areas. In 2025, we look forward to supporting Sam in her search for daycare placement for her young daughter, so that we can have her skill & experience back within the practice.
Michael | Business & General Manager
We’re extremely lucky to have Michael as our Business Manager, and he brings a wealth of skills, experience, and a great sense of humour to our team.
With his background as a qualified electrician and Certificate III in Dental Assisting, Michael has a unique perspective on the dental industry. He’s always looking for new ways to improve our business and ensure that our patients receive the best care possible.
Outside of work, Michael is a proud and fun father of two daughters, Pip and Lil. He loves nothing more than spending time with his family and watching them grow and learn. He also has a passion for martial arts, practicing the discipline of Shorin-Ryu Karate, which has taught him discipline, focus, and the ability to defend himself in debates (wink, wink).
Speaking of debates, Michael is known for his ability to hold a good chat and has a knack for engaging in friendly arguments. He’s always up for a lively discussion and loves hearing different perspectives on any given topic.
As the husband of our Principal Dentist, Olivia, Michael is a valued member of our dental family. His expertise and sense of humour keep us all on our toes, and we’re fortunate to have him guide & lead us.
Lindy | Clinical Co-Ordinator
Meet Lindy, our clinical coordinator and long-term resident of Goondiwindi. With a nursing, aged care, and pathology background, Lindy brings extensive expertise and local knowledge to our team. Her commitment to providing quality healthcare to her community is unmatched. Lindy’s passion extends beyond her work, as she also loves cooking delectable meals. However, she admits to having a dislike for gardening and frogs. Lindy’s dedication and experience make her an invaluable asset in delivering exceptional care to our patients in Goondiwindi.

Tayla | Reception
Tayla, our dedicated Receptionist and Dental Assistant, recently relocated from Bundaberg to join her partner in Goondiwindi. Despite the move, she brought along a cherished collection of plants, some of which have now found a new home in her purpose-built greenhouse. When she’s not at work, Tayla can be found tending to her thriving garden, a testament to her green thumb and passion for plants. Since joining Goondiwindi Family Dental just six months ago, Tayla has quickly made a mark with her exceptional skills in both dental reception and assisting. Her friendly nature and love for conversation make her a welcoming presence at our practice, and her quick adaptation has been invaluable to our team.
Narissah | School-Based Work Experience Student
In 2023 we are pleased to welcome Narissah into the Goondiwindi Dental-Family-tree, as a school-based trainee in a work experience role.
Each Friday, “Nyss” spends the day with our Dental Assistants learning the scope of their roles, assisting with tray preparation, sterilising duties & becoming familiar with the clinical jargon involved within Dentistry.
Nyss has a desire to become an Orthodontist upon completing school, therefore school-based training & work-experience within the industry just makes sense.

The best dental clinic I’ve ever taken my kids to. The clinic itself is state of the art. The nurses are so gentle and patient with the kids. The dentist we’ve been seeing- DR Jillian Wong is so kind and nurturing. I had a kid terrified of going to the dentist and now he’s happy to go. I never thought taking my kids to the dentist was ever a good experience and now I can actually say that it is. The team at this practice should be really proud of themselves and the clinic because it truly is an amazing place.
